Privacy notice

Clear privacy information for the website as it operates today.

This notice describes the contact, moderated-review and browser-storage behaviour currently implemented on the CMD website. It should be reviewed again when later third-party features are introduced.

Overview

Who we are

CMD Group of Services Ltd operates this website at https://www.cmdgroupofservices.com.

For website or product-related privacy questions, the current public contact address is support@cmdgroupofservices.com.

Enquiries

Contact form

The website contact form sends enquiry information through Web3Forms when you choose to submit it. The form currently asks for enquiry type, selected product, name, organisation, email, optional phone number, intended use or operational context, and your message.

The privacy acknowledgement is used to confirm that you have read this notice; it is not sent as an enquiry field. The website only displays a success message after the form provider reports a successful submission.

Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in a general product or company enquiry.

Public feedback

Moderated reviews

The Homepage review section retrieves approved public reviews from CMD's Google Apps Script review service. The public feed contains approved review identifiers, display names, ratings, review text and publication dates.

If you submit a review, the form sends the supported review fields to that service: name, rating and review text, together with technical anti-abuse values used by the supplied backend. New submissions are stored as pending and are not published automatically.

The review service includes moderation and rate-control logic. A submitted review only becomes visible through the public review feed after it is approved.

Functional preferences

Browser storage currently used

These storage values support interface behaviour and review abuse prevention. The current code does not introduce analytics, advertising or marketing storage.

Storage Key Current purpose
sessionStorage cmd-splash-seen Stops the short CMD intro replaying on every page during the same browser session.
localStorage cmd-contact-last-success Preserves the ten-minute successful Contact submission cooldown across refreshes and navigation.
localStorage cmd-theme Stores an explicit Light or Dark choice. Without it, the website follows the browser or operating-system preference.
localStorage cmd-review-last-success Preserves the five-minute successful Review submission cooldown across refreshes and navigation.
localStorage cmd-review-client-id Stores a randomly generated browser identifier used by the review service's client-level anti-abuse controls. The backend hashes the identifier before storing its client hash.
sessionStorage cmd-ai-chat-session Stores the current browser conversation with the CMD Product Assistant during the session. Cleared when the browser session ends or the visitor clears the conversation.

Product information

AI-assisted product assistant

The website provides an AI-assisted product assistant to help visitors understand CMD and its software products. When you submit a message, your message and conversation history (up to eight recent messages) are sent to CMD's backend hosted on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure, processed using the Cloudflare Workers AI model, and a response is generated and returned to your browser.

Messages are processed to generate responses but are not logged or stored persistently on the server. The conversation is retained only in your browser during the current session and is cleared when you close the session, navigate away, or choose to clear the conversation.

Please do not submit sensitive credentials, highly sensitive personal information, or information protected by law to the product assistant.

Current scope

Technology not currently in use

No analytics platform or advertising tracker is implemented. The privacy and consent position must be reviewed before any later optional third-party technology is added.

The current code-level storage audit does not identify a website cookie API call or non-essential tracking technology that would justify adding a decorative consent banner at this stage.
